I find that the political section of the photomanipulation category is somewhat knee-jerk at best and utter duckspeak at worst. It is as if the same old tired responses are recycled in a slightly different form -- the pope as hitler, the president as demon or oilmonger, the muslim as either terrorist or freedom fighter. What I don't see is an opinion that has any sort of originality to it. You can have an opinion about the war or on Islam or on the Pope or anything else and do interesting things to illustrate your point. I wish someone would do that here.

I do wish the artists engaged me in their comments instead of simply deleting mine. If the artist doesn't want an opinion about their work, why upload it? I suppose the kind of mind that uploads such works also only wants praise, to delude themselves into thinking that they're perfect.
